Bear Falls Cafe

At Bears Falls Café at Northumberland Zoo, Unreal Productions designed and created a fully immersive themed environment using bespoke artificial rockwork, scenic fabrication, and mural artistry. The focal point of the project was a handcrafted artificial rock waterfall, built to bring natural ambience, movement, and visual impact into the café interior. Designed to complement the zoo setting, the waterfall installation enhanced the visitor experience while showcasing Unreal Productions’ expertise in themed environments, artificial rock features, and custom scenic design for commercial spaces.

To complete the transformation, Unreal Productions also created realistic artificial tree trunks to conceal the building’s structural steel supports, seamlessly integrating them into the overall theme. A large-scale hand-painted mural was then added to strengthen the atmosphere and create a cohesive nature-inspired setting throughout the café. This project highlights Unreal Productions’ specialist skills in artificial rockwork, themed interiors, scenic painting, and immersive design for zoos, attractions, cafés, and visitor destinations across the UK.
