Chester Zoo

This project involved the design and construction of bespoke artificial rockwork and on-show dens for the Chester Zoo Snow Leopard Habitat. The work focused on creating highly realistic, durable rock formations that replicate the species’ natural mountainous environment, enhancing both animal welfare and visitor experience. Each element was carefully sculpted and finished to achieve an authentic aesthetic while meeting the strict safety and environmental standards required for modern zoo enclosures.

As part of a specialist zoo habitat construction project, the artificial rock features and dens were engineered to provide enrichment, shelter, and elevated vantage points for the snow leopards. This installation demonstrates expertise in themed environments, wildlife exhibit design, and high-quality artificial rock fabrication, making it a standout example of immersive habitat creation for leading zoological institutions.
